Single-sided cylinder ‘Pride 24’ print fabric lampshade

‘Pride 24’ is a bespoke lampshade designed using my architectural understanding of illumination and how patterned textiles behave when light passes directly through them. Handmade and designed for the Pride celebrations in 2024 it results in a vibrant, glow that adds instant character to any interior.

Fabric Story This shade features Cotton printed fabric, chosen for its representation of the colours in the Progress Pride flag. The pattern is striped with a modern, aesthetic and because it sits on the exterior, it remains visually striking whether your lamp is switched on or off. When illuminated, the colours become more vibrant and the geometry gains a gentle depth, giving the shade a dynamic yet refined presence.

Lighting Behaviour ‘Pride 24’ responds beautifully to warm bulbs, enhancing the richness of the outer colours and creating a cosy, inviting ambience ideal for living rooms offices and bedrooms. Its balanced tones make it suitable for both ambient and task lighting.

Handmade Craft Each lampshade is handmade in London using traditional making techniques. The exterior pattern is aligned with precision, the interior lining is finished cleanly, and the structure is built to maintain its form over time. As part of a limited run, every shade carries the individuality of the maker’s hand.

Practical Details Available in multiple sizes and suitable for both pendant and table‑lamp fittings.
