Double-sided 'Chevron’ multicoloured print lampshade

‘Chevron’ is a bespoke lampshade designed using my architectural understanding of illumination and how artificial light interacts with patterned textiles. Handmade using a Cotton fabric, this shade creates a bold aesthetic when unlit and atmospheric light that glows beautifully when illuminated.

Fabric Story This design features a cotton fabric, chosen for its muti-coloured chevron pattern. The pattern has a natural sense of movement, and when lit, the can be softened into a gentle colour gradient, or made bolder giving a brighter light.

Lighting Behaviour Paired with its Royal Blue lining, ‘Chevron’ responds distinctively when warm bulbs are applied. The blue tone transfers subtly into the white elements of the pattern resulting in a low light level, just bright enough for a bit of background lighting in spaces where too much light is an interference, like home cinemas or gaming rooms. If you'd prefer something lighter or warmer then just change the inner colour choice for one of the options below.

Handmade Craft Each lampshade is handmade in London using traditional making techniques. The exterior pattern is aligned with precision, the interior lining is finished cleanly, and the structure is built to maintain its sculptural form over time. As part of a limited run, every shade carries the individuality of the maker’s hand.
