Single-sided cylinder ‘Fiesta’ Ankara print fabric lampshade

‘Fiesta’ is a bespoke lampshade designed using my architectural understanding of illumination and how patterned textiles behave when light passes directly through them. Handmade using a bold, graphic fabric, 'Fiesta' creates a vibrant, warm glow that adds instant character to any interior.

Fabric Story This shade features an Ankara printed fabric, chosen for its use of colour and the story the pattern seems to be telling. It shows villas, mountains, flowers, and even wine bottles and glasses mixed in with swirls and an array of abstract motifs. The pattern bold and uncompromising, and because it sits on the exterior, it remains visually striking whether the lamp is on or off. 

Lighting Behaviour ‘Fiesta’ responds beautifully to warm bulbs, enhancing the richness of the outer colours and when illuminated, the colours become bolder and the whole scenescape becomes reminiscent of evening in a southern European town or village. A great addition to a garden room or holiday home to provide warm, ambient lighting.

Handmade Craft Each lampshade is handmade in London using traditional making techniques. The exterior pattern is aligned with precision, the interior lining is finished cleanly, and the structure is built to maintain its form over time. As part of a limited run, every shade carries the individuality of the maker’s hand.

Practical Details Available in multiple sizes and suitable for both pendant and table‑lamp fittings.
